Landscape photography has to be one of the most popular subjects amongst photographers. It is easily accessible to us all, and in the UK we are never far from some great scenery.
In the Landscape photography Gallery we have on display some of the nations favourite locations:
- The National Parks, Dartmoor, Snowdonia and the Lake District.
- Devon.
- Cornwall.
The Landscape gallery includes images produced in Black and White, Colour, and others that have had greater manipulation and fall into the category of photo art.
Black and White; the favourite of many traditional photographers. Black and White landscape photos could easily be manipulated in the darkroom to add mood or emphasize light and shade in the landscape. Now with digital imaging landscape images are just as easily in produced colour, and can be manipulated in similar ways.
Our preference is for neither black and white or colour. We prefer to let the landscape decide. Some images simply do not work in colour but are stunning in monochrome. For some you will find versions of both so you can decide.
All of the images are produced using digital cameras. We do not try and produce photographic prints on an Inkjet paper; we make it simple and just produce a photographic print on photographic paper. This mix of modern and traditional methods enables us to produce images of the highest quality.
