Lake District Black and White Photography

The Lake District National Park is one of my favourite locations. The diverse landscape of mountains, steep fells, lakes and rivers produces a rich environment with an infinite compositions. Black and white photography with its unique characteristics allow for highly stylised and emotive images. The creative photographer is able to use the qualities of Black and White to enhance the moods of the Lake District making the most of the changeable weather; stormy skies, rivers and waterfalls bursting with energy and tranquil misty mornings.
