Lake District Colour Photography

The Lake District is overflowing with opportunities for photography. Photographers from all over the Great Britain, and the world are attracted to the national park, the quality of the light and diversity of the subject matter make the Lake District a landscape photography wonderland.

Locations include the Northern Lakes centered around Keswick. You will find photographs taken from Crow park showing Derwent Isle and Derwentwater. From here we travel further south into Borrowdale, the Derwent River and Castle Crag for a couple of Black and White photographs. Climbing the fell sides to the west over Ashness Bridge and across fell tops we descend down into Watendlath, to take a monochrome image of the route to Little Dock Tarn. Back onto Derwent Water Passing over Catbells on the eastern side of the Lake we Skim across Newlands and carry on to Buttermere. Returning to Keswick just after sunset to shoot boats and pontoons lit at night on the edge of Crow Park.

The photographs have been captured using film and digital cameras. All of the images are printed on traditional photographic paper directly from digital files. The photographs are also available as digital files on request.
