Fine art photography, call it and describe it as you wish. The questions surrounding photography and art have been debated since Henry Fox Talbot was producing the very first photographs.
For my own purposes I have decided on the following definition, it is derived from many others I have read and absorbed into one thought that makes sense to me.
"The creation of images captured by photographic means that have no other purpose other than to satisfy the creative vision of the photographer. The purpose of the photograph being the photograph itself."
It could be said that all of the images in the BN-Images gallery are fine art photographs; they are all my interpretation of the subject; produced using a camera and a little manipulation to create my inner vision of the subject.I believe this is were art meets photography.
There are a mixture of subjects in the fine art gallery, monochrome. The subject is not important, I took them and manipulated them because I liked them.
